Preparation for Adulthood

At Hollinwood Academy, in our preparation for adulthood curriculum we aim to focus on four key life outcomes which are vital to ensuring pupils are prepared for adulthood. Those outcomes are:

Paid employments – including self-employment or higher education

Good health

Independent living – choice and control over your life and support

Community inclusion – friends, relationships and being part of your community.

Over the course of a student’s time at Hollinwood Academy students will complete suitable challenges towards an ASDAN Personal Development Programme qualification at either Bronze, Silver or Gold level.
