Today was fairly quiet here at holiday club but that didn’t stop us having lots of fun. We warmed up with some football practice in soft play..
Jacob made a new friend in Miss Davies as she soared down the slide with him..
What a beautiful smile he had, we could see how much fun he was having..
Then it was time for some body art. Mariam was careful not to smudge..
There were some great designs made..
..we’re still finding glitter now!!
Charlie was feeling the need for a little time out to relax, so he made himself comfy and watched a film for a while..
As the sun came out, we headed outside for some more football practice – little did we know this was going to be the theme of the day, or that Miss Shortall would be our official Hollinwood referee by the end of the day!
Break time could only mean one thing – more football! Mr Malloy took on Luke in a penalty shoot out tournament. Luke gave it a good try but Mr Malloy beat him 7-3..
After break it was lego building and hamma beads. The children helped each other to build a tower..
..while Miss Davies made a frog (sadly we don’t have a picture of that but we can assure you it was a very handsome frog!)
A quick refuel at dinner then it was back to football. We ended the day with a mini match. All the boys played really well – even the littlest De La Haye joined us to help his brothers!
He was brilliant, and the older boys were careful not to let him get hurt..
They all worked together with their team mates to find spaces and pass to each other..
And it paid off as in the end the score was a draw! Showing true sportsmanship, each player hi fived and shook hands with the others and praised each other for a good game..
We can’t wait for another day of fun tomorrow!
