Today we have been having lots of fun at Holiday Club at Hollinwood Academy. The morning started off with the pupils making crispy toffee marshmallows, which looked and tasted delicious..
One of the pupils’ favourite activities is always the bouncy castle and they certainly had had lots of fun enjoying themselves on it today..
Bailey and Darnell have loved the weather today, the sun came out so they have been practising their football skills and building inter-school relationships..
Some pupils have been practising yoga, relaxing and unwinding before their lunch..
The highlight of our day was when George found a spider (which only had 7 legs!) – George was very interested in the spider and with Mr Wilkes’ help, he proudly rescued the spider and set it free outside..
Pupils (and staff) have been creating glass paintings, ready to hang in the windows and catch the sunlight..
..and having fun with their other chosen activities..
To cool off and finish the day, pupils have been in the swimming pool, playing games, enjoying the floats and practising their swimming skills..
We’re looking forward to another day with our friends tomorrow 🙂
