Welcome to another week’s blog. Our classes at primary have begun practising for their Nativity – letters will be going home soon so you can get your tickets! We know from the last two years how successful it has been and we’re really looking forward to this year’s performance.

This week I have asked the classes from primary and secondary if there is anything special that they have done this week that they would like to share with everyone. Miss Shin’s class look like they have had a great week..

Our topic this term is ‘Time to party!’ and this week we located the USA on a world map and learned about the history of Thanksgiving. We then made our own Thanksgiving turkeys and shared things we were thankful for..
– Alfie is thankful for his friends Josh and Summer..

– Luca is thankful for computers at school..

– Joshua is thankful for his friends..

– Jacob is thankful for his family..

– Reece is thankful for Sky Sports, school, friends, holidays and food..

– Nathan is thankful for his friends and school..

– Lana is thankful for her tablet and toys..

– Summer is thankful for hatchimals..

– Jayden is thankful for his Mum, brother and all his family..

– Kia is thankful for my little pony and shopkins.

We are learning about electricity in Science. This week we investigated complete and incomplete electrical circuits – to do this we used batteries, wires and bulbs to make circuits..

Mrs Bennett’s intervention group have set up a little company producing rice crispy cakes and selling them to staff and pupils. They have looked at everything from advertising and producing the item to selling the finished product..

This afternoon I popped up to Miss Gordon’s room to discover a lunchtime club taking place. Sophie let me try out a game on her phone which I was terrible at! Next week I have promised to go and spend some time with the group and they have promised to help me master this game..
