Class of 2020! Positive Steps and Oldham local authority would love to hear from you!
We know you’ve had a strange and abrupt ending to your school career, and the great summer you had planned post exams probably looks quite different now.
The one thing that remains in your control now, however, is getting prepared for your Post 16 destination. You may be planning to study A Levels, BTECs, T Levels or you are about to enter the world of work on an apprenticeship, traineeship or study programme. Colleges, sixth forms, training providers, employers and Positive Steps Career Advisers are thinking of different ways to help you visualise what life will be like and help you prepare for your next step.
However, the best person to tell us what you need, is you. We want to know how you’re feeling about making this next step, and what could be put in place to help you settle from day 1.
The survey is anonymous and will be open until early July. We will take your feedback and ideas to the people that can help.
If you have 10 minutes spare, we’d be really grateful if you could fill in this questionnaire. Let us know how you’re feeling, if you have any specific worries or concerns and what can be put in place to help you.
Parents/carers – please encourage your son/daughter to complete the survey and use the narrative box at the bottom to add your thoughts, many thanks.
We will feed back the results to Post 16 providers to improve your experience. If you do wish to talk through any of this, or you need further guidance please do contact your Positive Steps Career Adviser through school or by e-mailing email@example.com
