Wow, what a week!
All my blogs have always focused on the learning that takes place in the classroom but this week I wanted to share with you some training the staff have been undertaking.
Another busy week at Hollinwood.
This week has seen the last of the GCSE exams and as a reward the leavers went off for a reward trip with Miss Sanderson to Manchester.
Welcome back to the final half term in school.
As Mrs Millard mentioned in her last blog, I have returned back to work after being on MAT leave.
I cannot believe we are finishing for the May half term already! This half term is always a short half term but it has been extremely busy.
Well, what a very surreal week at Hollinwood Academy. As I mentioned last week, we have had Key Stage 2 SATs, a GCSE, Super Learning Day and the Year 8 Disney residential.
I cannot get over how much fabulous learning we manage to fit into a week at Hollinwood Academy, and a four day week at that.
WOW!! Now that was ‘THE Greatest Show’. I cannot begin to put into words how immensely proud I am of the Hollinwood Academy students that took part in the show this week.
Welcome back after the Easter break. I hope you have all had a restful and enjoyable two weeks and a day off.
I cannot believe we are finishing for the Easter holidays today.
As you know, last Friday Mr Heap and Mrs Dunsdon were both nominated for POINT’s ‘Passion for Parents Award’ and invited to their annual Award Ceremony.
