Writing this blog has not been the easiest to do. Over the last four years, I have watched Hollinwood grow in numbers, both of pupils and staff.
This week saw the first of this year’s Parents’ Evenings in which parents were able to speak to all form teachers.
This week I had the pleasure of being part of an internal Peer to Peer review which took place at Horizons which is based at Medtia.

Wow, this 8 week half term has been jam packed! Pupils have started to settle into school life, especially those new to the school who have begun to understand what is expected of them.
How have we already been in school 7 weeks? This school year is going past very quickly.
We have ended the week celebrating Mental Health Awareness Day. Mrs Lomax and Miss Peak have worked hard to plan an exciting day for all the pupils. Here is what Mrs Lomax had to say..
What a rather rain filled week; however that did not dampen the spirits at Hollinwood.
It seems to feel like the term is flying away already, I can’t believe that we are now at the end of September.
The staff and pupils have all now settled back into school life.
